Yoga Classes
Individual classes tailored to you, your body and your goals. How you move and need to start moving. All levels are welcome for example, if you are working in an office and are really stiff or immobile, or if you just want to get into movement. The whole premise of Yoga is not just the physical it’s also the mental wellbeing, general health, looking after your health by finding stillness. We lead really busy lives and are constantly bombarded with stimulation that it’s so important to help your system slow down, to pause and come into a place of mental stillness, dropping into your body to allow your mind to rest.
Second Spring Yoga Workshops
These are three hour workshops and focus on a range of different topics such as menopause rage, poor sleep, diet etc. The workshop is designed for both new comers to Yoga and advanced. It will focus on areas such as breath work, how to manage symptoms, how to manage menopause more naturally to transition into your Second Spring. For more personal attention I can work with you individually through my Yoga, Pilates or coaching sessions.
Pre & Post Natal Yoga
Designed to work with woman who are pregnant from early to post natal. If you are pregnant you can go to a normal Yoga class but there are a number of considerations that are often overlooked in a general class such as ensuring you are not spending time in certain positions like Supana. As your baby grows positions in Yoga for strengthening and stretching, are adapted to address the changes throughout your trimesters and afterwards. All levels are welcome. Classes are individual or for small groups.
Corporate Yoga
With people being a company’s greatest asset and workplace stress massively high there is a lot of evidence that points to this being one of them causes of long term sickness. I work with companies to deliver classes to fit your needs, whether this is 20 minute lunch time classes, early morning, or after work classes. It depends on what your company wishes to deliver. Classes can be mixed and can include people with disabilities as Yoga is about being inclusive as possible. All you’ll need is warm space, as I have mats or people can bring their own mats.
Yogalates
This is for you if you wish to combine the strengthen and stretching of Pilates to improve your ability to move and learn a more holistic way of being. It integrates the teachings of mindlessness, releasing the busyness of the mind, learning to let go dropping into the body through breath work and holding certain positions to open and strengthen your body. These classes can be tailored to complete beginners or more advanced students that would like to take their practice in a different direction.
